Job Summary
Provides high-quality, patient-centered care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, assisting with activities of daily living, collecting patient data (vital signs, height, weight, intake/output, calorie counts), supporting meals and personal care, aiding mobility and positioning, collecting samples and performing finger-stick glucose monitoring, communicating information to the care team, maintaining infection control and PPE, and participating in safety, risk management, and performance improvement initiatives. Maintains a clean, safe care environment and adheres to policies and confidentiality; may require continuous visual observation and may perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire required
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant preferred or CPCT - Certified Patient Care Technician preferred
