Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician delivers patient-centered care under RN supervision in an acute care setting, performing delegated basic nursing tasks, collecting patient data (vital signs, intake/output), assisting with activities of daily living and mobility, handling specimen collection, and cross-training to unit clerk; requires high school equivalence and BLS within 30 days, with preference for CNA/PCT experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Tech
- Required Certification: Basic Life Support obtained within 30 days of start date.
