Patient Care Technician-Telemetry Part-Time Days

Monitor vital signs, take blood glucose measurements, and record intake and output under RN supervision. Assist patients with personal care activities including bathing, grooming, and eating. Report abnormal physical, mental, and emotional changes to nursing staff while maintaining clean and orderly patient rooms. Manage unit workflow with the charge RN, answer call lights and intercoms using appropriate etiquette, and validate daily admission and discharge lists. Requires High School Diploma, CNA or CMA certification, and American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. Part-time day shifts available at Northwestern Medicine.
