Job Summary
Patient Care Technician assists with patient care under RN/LPN supervision, performs hourly rounding, handles clerical tasks in Meditech, coordinates patient flow with the charge nurse, assists with patient/family teaching, maintains supplies and equipment, and helps ensure safety, infection control, and a positive patient experience while adhering to hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required – will obtain during hospital orientation.
