Patient Care Technician Surgical Intermediate Part time Nights

Monitor vital signs, measure blood glucose, and record intake and output under RN supervision. Assist patients with personal care, bathing, grooming, and eating while maintaining clean and orderly patient rooms. Report abnormal physical, mental, or emotional changes immediately to nursing staff. Manage unit workflow, handle telephone and call light requests, and validate daily admission, discharge, and census lists. Perform pre-census duties and serve as a liaison between patient care units and other departments. Function effectively under stressful situations with flexibility and multi-tasking skills.
