Patient Care Technician Surgical Care Center Part time Days

Monitor vital signs, take blood glucose measurements, and record intake and output under RN supervision. Assist patients with personal care activities including bathing, grooming, and eating. Report abnormal physical, mental, or emotional changes to nursing staff while maintaining clean and orderly patient rooms. Manage unit workflow with the charge RN, validate daily admission and discharge lists, and answer telephone and call lights using appropriate etiquette. Demonstrate flexibility and critical thinking to prioritize tasks as unit needs change.
