Job Summary
Prepare patients for physician examinations and ensure timely room turnover. Assist with setting up equipment and maintaining a clean environment after procedures. Check patient vitals, document intake information, and enter data into the Electronic Medical Record system. Collect urine samples, review charts for necessary paperwork, and order supplies for procedures. Perform other duties as assigned in the outpatient facility.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Graduate from a Patient Care Technician or a Certified Nursing Assistant program or six (6) months of direct patience experience or completion of at least one semester of clinical rotations in an accredited Nursing/Medical/Health professions program which included both didactic and clinical rotations
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to move 50 lbs. or more
Desired Qualifications
- Physician office experience
- BLS certification
