Job Summary
Prepare patients for physician visits and ensure timely examination room turnover. Assist with setting up equipment, maintain a clean environment after procedures, and check patient vitals while documenting intake information. Enter patient data into the Electronic Medical Record system, review charts for necessary paperwork, and collect urine samples. Order supplies and equipment as needed for patient procedures. Perform these duties under general supervision according to established policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Graduate from a Patient Care Technician or a Certified Nursing Assistant program or six (6) months of direct patient experience or completion of at least one semester of clinical rotations in an accredited Nursing program which included both didactic and clinical rotations
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to move 50 lbs. or more
Desired Qualifications
- Physician office experience
- BLS certification
