Patient Care Technician PRN Nights

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides patient-centered care under the supervision of an RN or LPN, assisting with activities of daily living, collecting vital signs and patient data, assisting with meals and personal care, aiding mobility, and ensuring a clean, safe environment while adhering to infection control and safety protocols. Responsibilities include documenting results (vital signs, intake/output, glucose monitoring), communicating effectively with the care team, participating in performance improvement initiatives, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Requires basic knowledge of patient care practices, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and ability to follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment. BCLS within 90 days of hire is required; CNA or CPCT certification is preferred.
