Patient Care Technician PRN Nights Acute Care

Assist nursing staff in delivering care by performing delegated basic patient care services and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Collect and record patient data including vital signs, intake/output, and glucose monitoring results, reporting findings to the RN/LPN/LVN. Support patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, oral care, and mobility assistance using walkers or wheelchairs. Perform urine and stool sample collection, skin care, and linen changes while adhering to infection control protocols and wearing appropriate PPE. Maintain continuous visual observation of patients at all times unless relieved. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and risk management reporting. Maintain regular attendance and comply with all policies and standards. BCLS certification required within 90 days; CNA or CPCT preferred.
