Job Summary
We are hiring for Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) in behavioral health units. Responsibilities include direct patient care, recording vital signs, assisting with mobility, and supporting daily activities while monitoring patient behavior. The role requires working closely with patients experiencing mental health challenges.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certificate from an accredited Patient Care Technician (PCT) program with training in EKG and phlebotomy
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric care setting
- Strong communication, observation, and de-escalation skills
- Ability to perform physical duties such as lifting, transferring, and prolonged standing
Additional Requirements
- Positions are on-site only — remote work is not available
- Must be comfortable providing care to psychiatric and behavioral health patients, including those in crisis
