Patient Care Technician Per Diem

Assists in preparation of the unit and patient rooms for admissions, transfers, and post-operative patients; performs safe patient handling, supports patient hygiene and comfort, and communicates observations to nursing staff. Performs vital signs, specimen labeling, and assists with admission/transfer/discharge processes. Provides catheter care, ensures infection-control measures, and participates in patient rounds and post-procedure preparations. Partners with licensed nurses to deliver safe, compassionate care and supports various procedures and patient needs as directed. Requires Florida Nursing Assistant Certification preferred and CPR Certification; completion of Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of employment; High School Diploma preferred. Per diem role with benefits and multiple South Florida locations.
