Patient Care Technician Peds/PICU- FMC

Maintain department cleanliness, assist with patient transfers, and monitor skin integrity while prioritizing changes in patient status. Support discharged patients with logistics and discharge instructions, manage breastpump rental bookkeeping and billing, and handle telephone triage for families. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, document objective patient data in the EMR, and answer administrative calls to determine caller needs. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, isolation precautions, and state regulations while completing mandatory training modules. This role supports the Peds/PICU and discharge units at Northern Arizona Healthcare, requiring a current CNA or LNA license and BLS certification.
