Job Summary
Maintain a safe, clean environment in patient rooms and service areas while assisting licensed personnel with basic patient needs and monitoring health and vital signs under the direction of a registered nurse. Perform activities of daily living support for patients. Requires current American Heart Association BLS certification and completion of a nurse aide, multi-skilled tech, or patient care tech course. Certification as a Certified Nurse's Aide or Patient Care Technician is preferred. Schedule includes varied shifts in the 3 South ICU Neuro unit at Mullica Hill Tower.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience as a nurse aide/residential aide/patient aide with experience in supporting patients' activities of daily living and vital signs
- Completion of a nurse aide, multi-skilled tech or patient care tech course(s)
- Completion of one clinical semester in an LPN/RN program
- Current American Heart Association BLS
- Welle Training (computer and classroom) within six months of hire
