Patient Care Technician / PCT / WEM Breast Inpt

Conduct assigned patient care and observation duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse or LPN, including cleaning patient rooms, operating clinical equipment, assisting with procedures, and transporting specimens. Communicate with patients, families, and the care team while maintaining unit-specific competencies and promoting a supportive environment. Assist with emergency situations, hygiene, comfort, and rest measures, and ensure compliance with Standard Precautions and infection control guidelines. Operate medical devices such as bag-valve-mask units, oxygen, suction equipment, and bedside glucose monitors. Record patient intake and output, observe and report significant patient information, and contribute to admission, transfer, and discharge processes. Perform other related responsibilities as required by department leadership.
