Patient Care Technician - PCT Training Provided!

Provides dialysis-related patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, cannulation, administration of heparin as allowed, monitoring vital signs, and documenting treatment data. Responsibilities include patient education on adequacy measures and disease processes, maintaining a safe and clean environment, assisting in CQI activities, and supporting transitions in patient care. Requires high school diploma or GED, CMS-approved/state certification/licensure as applicable, CPR certification, and completion of the organization’s dialysis training program. The role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the dialysis health care team to support quality patient outcomes.
