Job Summary
Deliver efficient nursing care under the direction of a licensed nurse, performing patient care activities and non-professional services to support patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), obtaining and recording Vital Signs and weights, aiding ambulation and transfers, positioning patients, applying adaptive equipment, caring for personal belongings, assisting with treatments under supervision, bedmaking, transporting patients for appointments, coordinating with rehab, notifying changes in patient condition, participating in care planning, performing skin care and simple dressings, assisting with meals and hydration, recording intake/output, using PCC for documentation, responding to call lights, adhering to safety precautions, orienting new nursing assistants, and supporting discharge activities.
