Job Summary
Patient Care Technician at WellNow Urgent Care will take patient history and vital signs, perform screenings and tests (including phlebotomy if certified), assist providers with exams and testing, manage lab paperwork, conduct point-of-care testing (strep, flu, pregnancy, urinalysis, glucose), ensure sterile technique and proper autoclave use, coordinate records, assist with registration and billing, and maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA). The role requires teamwork, strong communication, electronic medical records (EMR) proficiency, and the ability to handle physical tasks and a fast-paced urgent-care environment. Required Qualifications
