Patient Care Technician (PCT)

Perform patient history-taking and vital signs; conduct screenings and point-of-care tests (strep, mono, influenza, pregnancy, urinalysis) and phlebotomy if certified. Assist providers with exams and testing (including pelvic exams, eye/ear irrigations, I&Ds, splinting) and complete related documentation in EMR. Manage registration, insurance verification, payments, and patient flow at the front desk; maintain HIPAA confidentiality and accurate charting. Requires EMR proficiency, CPR certification, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to thrive in a busy urgent-care setting.
