Job Summary
Patient Care Technician (PCT) at WellNow Urgent Care performing patient history and vital signs, basic testing and screenings (vision, audio, urine drug screens, breath alcohol, EKGs, pulmonary function), phlebotomy if certified, lab testing paperwork, point-of-care testing (strep, mono, glucose, influenza, pregnancy, urinalysis), sterile technique and equipment maintenance, assist providers with exams and procedures, register patients and explain insurance coverage/pricing, document medical histories and procedures, and maintain HIPAA confidentiality while supporting efficient patient flow and front-desk duties.
