Patient Care Technician (PCT) | Surgical Trauma

Provides routine patient care and support services in accordance with established policies and procedures under the guidance of nurses and physicians, including ambulating, bathing, positioning, entering diet information, passing meal trays, feeding, attending to care needs, and responding to patient call lights. Greets and assists visitors, helps with transportation of patients, collects and transports specimens, coordinates with departments for diagnostic/therapeutic services, and assists with administrative tasks such as chart preparation and transfer/discharge paperwork. Maintains patient rooms, changes bed linens, and performs routine cleaning tasks while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with CMS, Joint Commission, OSHA standards, and maintaining patient confidentiality is expected. Part-time schedule with rotating days and weekends; opportunities include sign-on bonus.
