Job Summary
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN/LPN, applying understanding of basic anatomical, biological, psychological, cultural, and social sciences. Work full-time 36-hour weekly shifts (three 12-hour day shifts) at the Providence St Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage, AK. Maintain Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification and complete National Provider BLS training within 30 days of hire. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Some college courses in nursing or therapy field
- 3 months Nursing assistant experience in acute or extended care
