Job Summary
Obtain vital signs, collect specimens, assist with procedures, and support patient mobility and comfort needs under the supervision of a licensed provider or nurse. Maintain accurate medical records, ensure compliance with organizational policies, and exhibit proficient communication with patients, co-workers, and providers. Perform delegated clinical and administrative tasks while demonstrating knowledge of available resources within Lake Region Healthcare to support comprehensive patient care. Work day shifts Monday through Friday, with compensation determined based on experience and qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- Understanding of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment and supplies
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certification
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Current Healthcare Provider level CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within six months
- Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening
- Reliable attendance and ability to work at the clinic site as scheduled, including travel to other clinic sites
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Verified completion of an MA diploma/program with proof of current certification as an MA if certification received from the diploma/program
- Current CPR certification (Healthcare Provider level)
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- Ability to perform within the nursing scope of practice
- Current Minnesota LPN Licensure
- CPR Certificate
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Ability to work at the clinic site as scheduled, including travel to other clinic sites
- Current Minnesota LPN Licensure
- CPR Certificate
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Ability to perform within the nursing scope of practice
