Job Summary
Provide patient care and support to oncology inpatients on a 36-bed unit, assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, mobility, phlebotomy, EKG testing, specimen collection, and Foley catheter management under RN direction; participate in multiple shifts (12-hour days or nights) including weekend and holiday rotation; competitive benefits and professional development opportunities; requires HS diploma and BLS within 90 days plus one of several allowed certifications or clinical-program qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
- One of the following Certifications/Licensure options: CNA, NCMA, NCPCT, US Navy Hospital Corps School, EMT/EMS/AEMT, Paramedic, or current clinical program enrollment with RN/LPN/RT/PT prerequisites completed
- Current work experience as PCT or Nursing Assistant within last 3 years (preferred)
