Patient Care Technician / PCT / Moderate Care Unit

Clean patient rooms, operate clinical equipment, and assist with patient procedures, specimen transport, and hygiene under RN/LPN direction. Provide emergency assistance, monitor vital signs, and document intake/output while maintaining infection control standards. Support patient comfort through range of motion, ambulation, and transfers, and contribute to admissions, transfers, and discharge processes. Transport patients and specimens throughout the hospital and assist in postmortem care. Participate in performance improvement programs and orient nursing support assistants. Maintain unit competencies and serve as a resource for compliance with hospital policies.
