Patient Care Technician (PCT) | Med/Surg/Peds

Provide routine patient care and support services in accordance with established policies and procedures, as directed by the nurse or physician. Perform direct care tasks including ambulating, bathing, positioning, entering diet information, passing meal trays, and attending to other care needs. Respond promptly to patient call lights, handle personal items, greet visitors, answer inquiries, and relay messages. Assist patients with wheelchairs, measure intakes and outputs, collect specimens, transport patients, and manage interdepartmental and patient mail. Prepare requisitions for diagnostic and therapeutic services, coordinate appointments, manage supply requests, and maintain orderly patient rooms with routine cleaning tasks. Work rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
