Job Summary
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, transport patients between treatment areas, assist with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs, and perform services including dressing, showering, bathing, and oral feeding. Answer patient lights promptly, participate in patient turning and repositioning, and conduct purposeful hourly rounds to support physical well-being. Complete documentation of all care provided. Requires hospital experience as a patient care technician, nursing assistant, or related field, along with BLS certification. Full-time days shifts run 12 hours from 6 to 6:30 AM in Peoria, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hospital experience as a patient care technician, nursing assistant or experience in a related field such as a medical assistant or as an actively enrolled nursing student
- Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment
