Job Summary
Perform patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Execute duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines while working within the limits of the position. Do not administer medications or therapy, nor assume independent responsibility for patient care. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Requires current BLS certification; two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred. Full-time day shift at Luling LTACH/Rehab.
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS certification
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides
- May be a Patient Care tech working in the state of Texas
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides preferred
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
- Patient Care tech working in the state of Texas
