Job Summary
Provide safe and effective dialysis therapy as part of the dialysis health care team under supervision, operating hemodialysis machines, maintaining a safe environment, and educating patients on adequacy measures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, vascular access evaluation and cannulation, administration of heparin as allowed, vital signs and weight tracking, documenting treatment data, ensuring machine alarms and safety protocols, infection-control practices, and participation in CQI activities. The role involves cross-functional support, training of direct patient care staff, and coordination of care within the Transitional Care Unit; travel between facilities may be required. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, CMS/state licensure requirements, CPR certification, and relevant patient-care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications

- CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline
- All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required
- CPR certification (successful completion required)
