Job Summary
Perform setup and operation of hemodialysis machines as part of the dialysis health care team under licensed nurse supervision; provide patient education on adequacy measures (OLC, AMP, UKM); monitor vascular access and patient vitals; administer heparin as delegated; document treatment data and outcomes; maintain a safe, clean environment; participate in CQI/QEP activities and infection control practices; assist in training direct patient care staff and support transitional care and home dialysis education as applicable; comply with regulatory and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline
- All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required
