Job Summary
Functions as part of the dialysis health care team providing safe and effective dialysis therapy under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsible for setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, education related to adequacy measures, patient monitoring, documentation, infection control, and participation in CQI activities. Requires high school diploma or GED; CMS/state certification/licensure as applicable; prior patient care experience preferred. Travel between facilities may be required. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required
- CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline
- All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required
