Job Summary
Provide safe and effective dialysis therapy under the supervision of a licensed nurse, set up and operate hemodialysis machines, monitor patient vital signs and UF goals, cannulate vascular access, administer heparin as delegated, document treatment data, maintain a clean and safe environment, participate in CQI activities, educate patients on adequacy measures, assist with transition to home dialysis options, and support infection control and staff training; travel between facilities as needed and perform duties in a healthcare setting with lifting and patient-handling requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline
- All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required
- CPR certification
