Job Summary
Assist dialysis patients as part of the health care team: set up and operate hemodialysis machines, monitor and document vital signs and treatment parameters, manage vascular access evaluation and cannulation, administer heparin as allowed, provide patient-specific education on adequacy measures and disease processes, record treatment data, maintain a safe environment, participate in CQI and infection control activities, support transitions and home dialysis education, and adhere to CMS/state regulations and facility policies. Requires high school diploma or GED and state/certification/licensure as applicable; previous patient care experience preferred; CPR certification required and completion of dialysis training program.

- CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline
- All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required
