Job Summary
Provides dialysis therapy support under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, including setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, vascular access evaluation and cannulation, and administration of heparin as delegated. Responsible for obtaining pre/post-treatment vital signs and weight, initiating dialysis per orders, monitoring intradialytic status, and documenting treatment data. Supports education for patients regarding adequacy measures and disease processes, participates in CQI activities and process improvement, and assists with infection control, environmental integrity, and transitional care duties. Maintains equipment cleanliness and safety, prepares charts and laboratory specimens, and may travel between assigned facilities. Requires High School diploma or GED and CMS/state certification as applicable; CPR certification and dialysis training program completion may be required. The role is located in Mililani, HI and is performed on-site with patient care under RN supervision.
Required Qualifications
