Job Summary
Provide safe dialysis therapy under direct supervision of a licensed nurse, including setup and operation of hemodialysis machines; assist with patient education on adequacy measures (OLC, AMP, UKM) and disease process; monitor vital signs and treatment parameters; evaluate vascular access, administer heparin as allowed, document treatment data, and ensure infection control and safety; participate in CQI activities and staff training; support transitions to home dialysis when appropriate; travel between facilities as needed; adhere to facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required
- CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline
- All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required
- Demonstrated commitment to organization culture, values, and customer service standards
