Job Summary
Functions as part of the dialysis health care team, responsible for setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, patient education on adequacy measures and disease process, vascular access evaluation and cannulation, monitoring and recording of vital signs and treatment parameters, performing infection control and environmental maintenance, and participation in CQI activities and transition to patient-centered care including home dialysis education and modality coordination.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements
- All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required
- CPR certification and dialysis training program completion (as applicable)
