Job Summary
Provide dialysis therapy setup and operation under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Duties include preparing and operating hemodialysis machines, monitoring patients, evaluating vascular access, cannulating access, administering heparin as delegated, obtaining pre- and post-treatment vitals and weights, initiating dialysis per orders, monitoring and addressing intradialytic issues, documenting data on the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet, maintaining sterile/clean environment, and participating in CQI activities. Requires High School diploma or GED and CMS/state certification/licensure; prior patient-care experience preferred. Hourly rate posted: $18.00-$29.00 (annualized as $37,440-$60,320 depending on location and qualifications).
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required
- CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline
- All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required
