• •High School diploma or G.E.D.
• •CMS-approved state and/or national certification
• •All appropriate state licensure, education, and training
• •CPR certification
• •Must meet Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline
• •Must be able to lift and to lower solutions on a frequent basis of up to 30 lbs.
• •Must be able to lift and to lower solutions on an occasional basis up to 40 lbs.
• •Must be able to exert up to 15 pounds of force
• •Must be able to bend over
• •Must be able to push and/or pull equipment
• •Must be able to perform frequent, prolonged periods of standing
• •Must be able to travel between assigned facilities and various locations within the community
• •Must be able to travel to regional, Business Unit and Corporate meetings
• •Must pass the Ishihara's Color Blindness test
• •Must adhere to infection control Policies and Procedures
• •Must follow all organization business policies, procedures and systems

• •Must ensure all areas are safe and clean
• •Must clean and disinfect dialysis machine surface, chair, equipment, and surrounding area
• •Must conduct all tasks necessary for preparation for dialysis treatment
• •Must perform all required pretreatment dialysis machine alarm testing
• •Must complete and document ongoing participation in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities
• •Must enter all treatment data into the designated clinical application in an accurate and timely manner
• •Must review treatment sheets for completeness
• •Must ensure nursing signatures are documented
• •Must ensure omitted entries are completed or corrected by appropriate staff
• •Must prepare initial patient chart for admission
• •Must compile paperwork for appropriate placement in chart
• •Must prepare/print lab requisitions for prescribed or stat Lab specimens
• •Must collect, label, appropriately prepare and store lab samples according required laboratory specifications
• •Must ensure collection of lab specimens by appropriate lab courier
• •Must assist in collecting information for infection control audits

• •Must monitor patients' response to dialysis therapy
• •Must obtain vital signs prior to reinfusion
• •Must perform all relevant functions necessary for the discontinuation of treatment
• •Must discontinue dialysis treatment according to established procedures
• •Must evaluate patient prior to termination of venous access
• •Must obtain Hemostasis
• •Must apply appropriate dressings
• •Must evaluate the patient prior to discharge
• •Must perform and record Pre and Post dialysis evaluation
• •Must calculate and entry of individual patients' dialysis machine programming for Ultrafiltration (UF) goal
• •Must ensure appropriate safety alarms are enabled
• •Must record accurate and timely information regarding vital signs and treatment parameters
• •Must document patients' response to intervention
• •Must evaluate patients' vascular access during treatment
• •Must obtain all prescribed laboratory testing
• •Must ensure that all blood spills are immediately cleaned with appropriate disinfectant
• •Must prepare, organize, and efficiently utilize supplies and equipment to prevent wastage
• •Must monitor patients performing self-care under the supervision of RN
• •Must assist in training of applicable direct patient care staff
• •Must maintain environmental integrity and aesthetics
