Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Cardiac Unit

Provide patient care under RN supervision in the Cardiac Unit, assisting with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, mobility/ambulation, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, EKG testing, peripheral IV removal, specimen collection, and Foley catheter insertion/removal, while maintaining patient safety and reporting changes to nursing staff. Rotating 12-hour shifts (day or night) with weekends/holidays as assigned; role supports care for cardiac patients including arrhythmias, STEMI, heart failure, chest pain, ICDs, and pacemakers; requires a high school diploma/equivalent and a qualifying certification/clinical program as listed.
