Job Summary
Provide direct patient care as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the Obstetrics Unit. Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility), obtain and document vital signs, collect and transport laboratory specimens, maintain a clean and safe patient environment, assist with patient transport and procedure preparation, respond to call lights and patient needs, and communicate concerns to the nursing team. Participate in unit activities and orientation of new staff, while promoting teamwork, professionalism, and a positive patient experience. Requirements include High School Diploma or equivalent, current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification or successful completion of the first year of a Nursing program, and Life Support Training or Certification (ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.). Required Qualifications
