Job Summary
Provide safe, direct patient care including ambulating, bathing, positioning, and feeding patients while responding promptly to call lights and managing personal items. Handle administrative tasks such as entering diet information, preparing requisitions, managing mail, and maintaining patient room cleanliness. Coordinate appointments, collect specimens, and request services from chaplain, social services, and pastoral care as directed by the nurse or physician. Greets visitors, answers inquiries, and directs traffic during emergencies. Requires CNA certification, high school diploma, and ability to work weekends from 11:00a to 7:00p. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Licensing Board
- Minimum Age Requirements 16
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- Ability to work the hours specified
- Age of 18 years of age or older
