Job Summary
Under the direction of an RN or LPN, assists in individualized patient care to achieve the patient's highest level of wellness. Works as part of a team to perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks essential to patient care. This full-time role features 12-hour rotating shifts (8:30 am–8:30 pm) at Mercy Advanced Care in Montclair/Springfield, with required BLS within one month of hire and CPCT competencies within 3 months. Training provided if no prior experience; position requires physical ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing/walking. Preferred candidates include EMT, Paramedic, CNA, or CPCT with prior patient care experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or CNA/CPCT enrolled in a healthcare career program
- BLS certification required within one month of hire
- CPCT competencies must be completed within 3 months of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking
- EMT/Paramedic or prior patient care experience preferred
