Job Summary
Take vital signs, perform EKGs, and collect specimens while handling patient care situations with high integrity and compassion. Assist patients in a timely and efficient manner under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse, providing support to the inpatient nursing staff. Collaborate with the clinical team to provide assistance with procedures as needed and use basic computer skills to support clinical documentation. Work an overnight shift flexed from 8:00pm to 8:30am Monday through Friday with weekend rotation required at the Main Campus. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare-related experience in one or more of the following roles: – Nursing Assistant (NA), Patient Care Technician (PCT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), – Medical Technician, Phlebotomist, or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- If less than 2 years of experience: – A Nursing Assistant or other healthcare-related certification obtained within the past 12 months
- If less than 2 years of experience: – At least 1 year of healthcare-related experience in one of the roles listed above
- BLS certification required by time of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Epic EMR experience preferred
