Patient Care Technician- Obstetrics- 0.9 FTE N

Provide Activities of Daily Living including bathing, oral care, grooming, urinary catheter and ostomy care, meal assistance, positioning, and elimination support. Collect and record vital signs, intake and output, weights, and specimens. Transport patients via wheelchair, cart, or bed, and answer patient call-lights and telephones. Restock patient rooms and perform equipment checks under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This cross-trained role covers postpartum, newborn nursery, and pediatrics at the Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus.
