Job Summary
Conduct patient care duties in the observation unit at UW Health Swedish American Hospital, including monitoring patients and administering treatments under supervision. Maintain certification as a Nursing Assistant or complete fundamentals of nursing, ensuring all staff are registered on the Illinois Department of Health Registry. Perform bi-annual CPR training and obtain EKG certification if applicable. Work a 100% FTE schedule from 7:00am to 7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Active and eligible in the Illinois Registry for CNA
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of fundamentals of nursing course and be registered on the Illinois Department of Health Registry
- Nurse who has completed RN or LPN Training in another country and completion of EKG
- Bi-Annual CPR designation by recommended renewal date
