Job Summary
Assist with bathing, oral care, toileting, and linens while supporting safe mobility, repositioning, and transfers. Monitor and record vital signs, document patient information accurately, and provide compassionate bedside care including support for patients nearing the end of life. This role includes exposure to bodily fluids and requires safely lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. You will work on a 23-bed Observation Unit with remote telemetry capabilities, caring for patients requiring short-term evaluation and monitoring as test results guide decisions for admission or discharge.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within six months of hire
- Safely lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
