Job Summary
Provides nursing-care assistance on the Med/Surg unit during night shift, including taking vital signs, intake/output, bathing, feeding, and toileting; assists in medical emergencies (CPR); ensures accurate documentation in the patient record; communicates changes in patient condition to RN/LPN and fulfills delegated tasks; acts as a patient advocate and collaborates with health-service personnel; cross-trains to telemetry tech if needed; supports patient care needs while adhering to organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Illinois approved CNA training program and passed a written competency test or nursing arts course
- BLS
