Job Summary
Assist with patients' activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting, and mobility under the direction of a Registered Nurse or LPN. Perform technical duties such as vital signs, point of care testing, bladder scanning, and foley catheter care, and may conduct phlebotomy and EKGs if certified. Communicate changes in patient status to the healthcare team, reinforce education on individual care needs, and participate in patient satisfaction and performance improvement activities. Maintain high standards of professional ethics and standard precautions, including care of patients in isolation. Requires high school diploma or GED, completed PCT or fundamentals nursing course, and BLS certification. Night shift, 12-hour days, Marlton location.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrates required knowledge of basic patient care skills, procedures and standards
- Must have strong communication skills
- High School Diploma or Grade Equivalent Diploma (GED)
- Must have successfully completed a PCT course, a fundamentals nursing course in an RN program, Certified Nursing Assistant program, or have worked an equivalent of 1 year of direct patient care
- BLS certification
- Must be available for Night Shift - 12 Hr
- Must be available for Full time
- Must be available for On-Site
- Must be available for Marlton - Rt 73 and Brick Road
- Must be available for Regular Time
- Must be available for Employee
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
