Patient Care Technician (Med/Surg 4N)

Provide skilled technical assistance to licensed professionals by performing bedside glucose monitoring, collecting and labeling specimens, and conducting wound and ostomy care. Accurately obtain vital signs, measure intake and output, and perform incentive spirometry and pulse oximetry while documenting data in the Wellsoft system. Deliver direct personal hygienic care, assist with activities of daily living, and maintain patient mobility. Retrieve blood from the Blood Bank, perform electrocardiograms, and ensure code cart readiness each shift. Adhere to CentraState policies for restraint application, post-mortem care, and pain management interventions. Float between units as needed to support operations and provide 1:1 patient observation.
