Job Summary
Maintain a safe, clean environment in patient rooms and service areas while assisting licensed personnel with basic patient needs and monitoring health and vital signs under the direction of a registered nurse. Perform activities of daily living support and complete required Welle Training within six months of hire. Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required; Certified Nurse's Aide license or Patient Care Technician certification is preferred. This temporary night shift role involves occasional lifting up to 50 lbs and exposure to varied temperatures and cleaning agents.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience as a nurse aide/residential aide/patient aide with experience in supporting patients' activities of daily living and vital signs
- Completion of a nurse aide, multi-skilled tech or patient care tech course(s)
- Completion of one clinical semester in an LPN/RN program
- Current American Heart Association BLS
- Welle Training (computer and classroom) within six months of hire
